Magic Knight Captains Ranked
The Clover Kingdom has lots of enemies, and must defend itself from all type of threats. Fortunately, they have the Magic Knight squadrons to aid them.
The Order of the Magic Knight (Maho Kishi-dan) is a group of selected mages who serve in the Kingdom's army as Magic Knights. The main aim of the organization is to defend the Kingdom from all type of threats. The Magic Knights are divided into nine (9) squads, each of which are led by a talented and powerful Magic Knight Captain. Each squad has its own badge that matches the squad's name, as well as signature robes that differentiate members of each squad.
Each of the nine captains has a distinct fighting style that they use in conjunction with their magic. They are loved and respected by the people of Clover kingdom, and their strength and charm have won the heart of many fans. The question who is the strongest of the magic knight captain? has triggered lots of debates. So, we'll be reviewing the Magic Knight Captains from the least to the strongest. Let’s jump right into it!
10. Kaiser Granvorka (Purple Orca)
Kaiser was named captain of the Purple Orca squad shortly after Gueldre Poizot was evicted for betraying the kingdom. He wields a three-leaf clover grimoire that contains vortex magic, allowing him to conjure magical whirlwinds that dispel the magic of others.
Since he isn't a major character in the series, we don't know the full extent of his abilities. But, as the "Kingdom's Ultimate Shield," his abilities are high on the defensive. Despite this, he's a humble, polite, and competent captain.
9. Rill Boismortier (Aqua Deer):
At the age of 19, Rill was appointed captain of Aqua Deer, making him the youngest Magic Knight captain in history. He uses painting magic alongside a paintbrush and palette with which he casts his spells. With his magical talent, he’s able to create and manipulate paint, allowing him to bring his sketches to life and creating any element by painting it. However, he's mental state has a significant impact on imagination, which in turn has an impact on his magic, which is a downside to his magic. After completing his training with the spirit guardian in heart kingdom, Rill has become even stronger now.
8. Charlotte Roselei (Blue Rose)
Charlotte is a noblewoman of House Roselei and the captain of the Blue Rose squad, an all-female squad. She prioritizes her responsibilities to the kingdom and uses Briar Magic, her briars were initially red, but she lost a part of her magic when the curse of Roselei family activated changing the color from red to blue.
She can conjure a briar-like whip, which she can use in conjunction with her Briar Magic. Charlotte wields a great deal of magical strength as a noblewoman, captain of a Magic Knights squadron and human-host of an elf. One of the most powerful female characters in the series.
7. Jack the Ripper (Green Mantis)
Jack the ripper, Captain of the green mantis squad and a former commoner with a twisted personality. He loves battling and is obsessed with cutting anything with his severing magic blades. He's simply powerful, despite his personality. He uses slash magic, and as he battles, the blades adapt to his opponent's magic, enhancing his slashing abilities to the point that he can slice through both spatial and gravity magic.
6. Dorothy Unsworth (Coral Peacock)
Dorothy is a witch who fled the Witches' Forest and became the captain of the Coral Peacock Squad in the Clover Kingdom. She appears to be a heavy sleeper who is constantly conscious of her surroundings, she uses dream magic and able to trap people in her dream world (glamour world) and the only way out is to defeat her. Besides that, this spell renders the victims sleepy over time, and if they don't wake up before the spell ends, they won't be able to do so again putting them in an eternal sleep.
5. Nozel Silva (Silver Eagles)
Nozel is the captain of the silver eagles and also the oldest son of the royal house; House Silva. He is an arrogant man who believes he is superior to everybody else. Despite this, he prioritizes his responsibilities to the kingdom. He uses mercury magic similar to his mother's (Acier Silva) steel magic, where he’s able to create and manipulate mercury at his will.
4. William Vangeance (Golden Dawn)
William was a member of the Aqua Deer squad and rose through the ranks to become the Golden Dawn's captain. He’s powers are acknowledged by the wizard king (Julius Novachrono). He’s widely known and loved by the people of clover kingdom.
William uses arcane stage magic; World Tree magic. His world tree magic is extremely versatile and can accomplish a range of things from sucking up mana to using healing spells to attack spells.
3. Fuegoleon Vermillion (Crimson Lions)
Fuegoleon Vermillion is the eldest son of House Vermillion. He also serves as the Crimson Lions' captain. He was temporarily replaced by his older sister, Mereoleona, when he was in a coma. He’s is a nobleman with exceptional leadership skills and has the ability to motivate every soldier on the battlefield as well as taking command in any situation and issuing out orders as required.
He uses fire magic, extremely strong and was acknowledged by Mereoleona herself about being as powerful as her. After receiving the fire spirit (Salamander), his strength has reached unfathomable heights.
2. Mereoleona Vermillion (Acting Crimson Lions)
Mereoleona is the eldest daughter of house vermilion. She was temporarily elected captain of Crimson Lion when her junior brother Fuegoleon was in coma after fighting the leader of the eye of the midnight sun (byaku no magan), she was also appointed captain of Royal Knights squad.
Mereoleona was never interested in the standard structure of how the kingdom armies operate. She has racked up physical strength and mastery in hand-to-hand combat since leaving home to practice in the wild, roaming the kingdom fighting off wild beasts. She uses fire magic and her combat skill, strength, and ability to use mana skin/mana zone are unrivaled. proving that she is truly the "lioness of the crimson lions."
Despite the fact that her brother now has Salamander, the fire spirit, her natural ability far outweighs Fuegoleon's. She was also ranked higher than Yami Sukehiro, the captain of the black bull squad, when he hadn't gotten the hang of using mana zone and went to her for a training session, but Yami is now at a different level, hence why he's first on the list.
1. Yami Sukehiro (Black Bull)
Our all-time favorite, Yami, is at the top of the list! A foreigner from Hino country who got lost and ended up in the Clover Kingdom, as well as the first captain of the Black Bulls Squad. Yami is known for being a hot-headed, reckless, and lazy character who gets easily enraged over minor issues and death threats at the drop of a hat. Despite this, he’s a strong and well-respected captain.
“Surpass your limits” he says in his signature style. “right now, right here.” This alone is a resoluteness in him that distinguishes him from other captains. In respect of the situation Yami comes up with something new. Hence, surpassing his limit.
Yami uses arcane stage magic; dark magic that he basically channels with his katana; he's considered to be a fantastic swordsman with excellent reflexes due to his use of ki. He’s able to attack, defend, strengthen, and restrain with his magic. Making it highly versatile. He's also mastered mana zone, allowing him to cast powerful spells such as Dimension Slash – Equinox and Death Thrust. In all, Yami is the strongest magic knight captain.
